CRC CARE is a national research and development organisation
providing new knowledge and technology in assessing, preventing and
remediating contamination of soil, water and air. CRC CARE brings together Australian
universities, state and Commonwealth agencies and regulatory
authorities, and mining, petroleum and agricultural industries,
venture capitalists, environment consultants and suppliers to work
collaboratively on vital contamination issues and sites in
the Australasian region.
The role
The CRC seeks a qualified and
enthusiastic science communicator to handle the day-to-day
communication needs of the organisation. These include media
liaison, website content and maintenance, publications,
newsletters, stakeholder relations and assisting with internal
communication, industry conferences and workshop coordination.
The
person
The successful applicant will have the
ability to work with scientists, industry and government partners
across a widely-spread organisation. They will have exceptional
writing, presentation and web skills and a strong understanding of
modern media.
The successful applicant will be outcome-focussed, with the
practical ability to implement the CRC’s communication
plans.
