Launched in 2007, the Australian Remediation Industry Cluster (ARIC) represents a unique network of Australian expertise in environmental remediation.

Formed to foster the development of new skills and technology to combat contamination, ARIC is emerging as Australias key professional association in this field. As such it is set to play a significant scientific, technical and advisory role in a rapidly expanding national and international clean-up market.

ARIC will:

• provide a unique platform for organisations to develop a common position on contamination issues that are economically, socially and environmentally challenging

• liaise with government and advocate policies, action and solutions on contamination issues, and

• build relationships with national and international researchers in the assessment, remediation and prevention of contamination.
