A short course in Environmental Health Risk
Assessment (EHRA) will be held from 14-18 July 2008 on the Gold
Coast, south of Brisbane.
The course is jointly organised by the National Research Centre for
Environmental Toxicology (EnTox), Queensland Health Forensic and
Scientific Services (QHSS), University of the Sunshine Coast,
Griffith University Australian School of Environmental Studies, the
CRC for Contamination Assessment and Remediation of the Environment
(CRC CARE) and the Australian Centre for Human Health Risk
Assessment.
The course is aimed at increasing knowledge and awareness of
environmental health issues and in developing and updating
methodological skills in hazard identification, exposure
assessment, dose-response relationships, risk characterisation and
risk management.
