Project Details
Extensive research has been carried out for identifying solutions to remove phenolic pollutants before wastewater is discharged. Photocatalytic oxidation, as its name implies, enhances conventional oxidation methods by using powerful oxidising agents, UV light and a suitable catalyst. Photocatalytic oxidation is an advanced oxidation method that tends to completely mineralise the phenol treated.
