Acid sulfate soils: identification, assessment and
management
CRC CARE and the Centre for Acid Sulfate Soil Research at
Southern Cross University, are holding a short course on the
identification, assessment and management of acid sulfate soils.
This short course is designed to equip professional officers
charged with the management of these soils with the knowledge and
skills to develop and administer plans of management in accordance
with NSW legislative requirements.
The course will be run 11-13 November 2008 at Lismore, NSW.

land
Legalwise Seminars in conjunction with CRC CARE are holding a
short seminar on the acquisition, disposal and leasing of
contaminated land focussing on risk management and regulatory
reform, practical impacts and implications and liability.
Presenters include Mark Beaufoy (DLA Phillips Fox), Ross McFarland
