CRC CARE hosted CleanUp 2011, Australia’s premier conference related to the contaminated site and remediation industry.

CleanUp 2011 incorporated the 6th International Workshop on Chemical Bioavailability in the Terrestrial Environment (7–9 September 2011) and the 4th International Contaminated Site Remediation Conference (11–15 September 2011).

CRC CARE was awarded a 2010 STAR Award for its work in treating wastewater contaminated with perfluorochemicals (PFCs), which are commonly found as a residual from the use of fire-fighting foam.
