three months have seen some new and exciting developments take

Port Stanvac new remediation flagship.
Researchers from the Cooperative Research Centre for Contamination
Assessment and Remediation of the Environment (CRC CARE) in
partnership with Coffey Environments and Mobil will use the Port
Stanvac site to test environmentally friendly, cost effective
bioremediation strategies to clean up petroleum residues. (more)
Australian Remediation Industry Cluster.
A new industry body has been formed to help Australia rid itself of
its legacy of past industrial contamination, build a cleaner,
healthier future and develop the remediation export industry.

India and CRC CARE to work together.
CRC CARE and the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IITK) have
announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding to work
together on research projects and the training of experts in
contamination risk assessment and clean-up. (more)
