Project Summary
This literature review represents the initial phase of work in a
larger programme seeking to provide a scientific basis for stronger
acceptance of natural attenuation as a remediation strategy in
Australia. The scope comprises review of literature relevant to
natural attenuation at petroleum sites, to determine the
information that is available and the issues that need to be
resolved to achieve broader regulatory and industry acceptance.
