Project Summary:
This project will investigate regulatory and post
remediation approaches to in-situ contamination in Australia and
selected overseas jurisdictions. The final stage of the project
will address the extent to which developers who have undertaken
site remediation can be confident that the regulatory endorsement
of the outcomes of remediation of particular sites (in-situ
retention) and agreed on-going management measures will contain
longer-term assurances that further remediation work will not be
required.
