This subprogram will review the adequacy of current legal and
policy arrangements for contaminated sites both in Australia and
the Asia-Pacific region. In later stages the research will build on
the research from the Risk Assessment, Remediation and Prevention
programs by identifying initiatives that will lead to the rapid
adoption of the new technologies emerging from these programs and
by facilitating training in connection with their
implementation.
