Project Title
Emission
characteristic of CI in biomass combustion
Biography
Guangjun
graduated from the School of Environmental Science, Guizhou
University, China in 2007 with a Bachelors degree. His research
fields include biomass to energy, such as biomass combustion,
gasification and control of trace toxical elemental in biomass
combustion.
Between
2007 and 2008 Guangjun worked on scientific and technological
projects in Hubei province including demonstration projects of
biomass micron fuel (BMF) gasification and utilization of gas
products.

Project Details
Biomass is potentially an attractive feedstock for producing fuel
gas and its use contributes little or no net carbon dioxide to the
atmosphere. Biomass energy conversion technologies especially
pyrolysis and gasification have been substantially studied to
promote renewable energy utilization and solving partially the
environmental issues. Combustion is the most simple and direct
technology nowadays available for biomass utilization. Because of
the difference of the properties of biomass and coal, such as more
K and CI content, biomass combustion is fouling and corrodent.
According to the relative research, the element of CI is a key
factor in the fouling and corrodent progress.
