Research outcomes need to further our understanding and
contribute to the task of reducing contamination in our landscapes
and the impact it has on our communities.
To achieve this goal CRC CARE works with industry, government
and communities to ensure its research outcomes are utilised.
Australian Remediation Industry Cluster
The Australian Remediation Industry Cluster (ARIC) facilitates the
development of the environmental remediation industry in
Australia.
Commercialisation
Producing leading edge technology is a key goal of CRC CARE. Having
a technological solution to a problem does not necessarily mean
that people can or will use it. Often technologies have to be
developed into new products and services before they can be
adopted.
The commercialisation of technology attracts people to invest in
the post-research phase which is critical to the successful
adoption of many new technologies.
Not all technologies produced by CRC CARE will be
commercialised. Many technologies will be promoted to the relevant
audience to facilitate rapid adoption or further
development.
Whichever path the technology goes down to reach the marketplace
there will be considerable flow on benefits for the broader
community through reduced contamination in the environment.
