Launched in 2007, the Australian Remediation Industry Cluster
(ARIC) is a network of Australian expertise in environmental
remediation. Through scientific, technical and advisory education,
training and networking, it fosters the development of new skills
and technology to combat contamination.
ARIC forum
The ARIC members forum, formerly hosted on the Remediation
Australasia website, has been relocated to the professional
networking website LinkedIn.
The high number of ARIC members already using LinkedIn, and the
significant traffic experienced by the website, have resulted in a
great response to the new forum.
Members are welcome to use the ARIC forum to network, raise
topics of concern or interest, and work together remotely on issues
of importance.
Remediation Australasia (website and magazine)
The Remediation Australasia magazine provides news and
technical information for the remediation industry throughout
Australasia.
It is the primary communication tool for ARIC to draw the
industry together and provide an information outlet for
participant.
The online-only magazine moved to a print and online version in
September 2011, and was launched at the CleanUp 2011
Conference.
Remediation
Australasia magazine
The ARIC website, also entitled Remediation
Australasia, was launched at the ARIC Industry Summit at CleanUp 09
conference in September 2009. It is a source of information for the
general public and ARIC members.
Members have access to additional 'members only' sections of the
site, where they can browse previous issues of the Remediation
Australasia magazine, search through library links and resources on
remediation and contamination, and find details about upcoming
industry training opportunities and events.
For the general public, the site provides useful information about
remediation and promotes the technical excellence of the industry.
There is also information about how to join as an ARIC member.
