Southern Cross University's, world-class research centre, Southern Cross GeoScience is pleased to announce that the 4th National Acid Sulfate Soil Conference will be held on 20-21 May, 2014 in Perth. This conference follows on from the success of the 3rd National Acid Sulfate Soil Conference which Southern Cross GeoScience hosted during March, 2012 in Melbourne.

The conference aims to bring stakeholders together to exchange ideas and learn from each other. And there is great value in sharing our experiences.

Delegates to Melbourne told us they valued the diversity of presentations included in the conference program. That, in a short period of time they were able to access the most recent developments across a range of related disciplines. The conference program for the 4th National Acid Sulfate Soil Conference will offer delegates updates on the latest scientific discoveries, new and emerging technologies, overviews of regulatory and policy frameworks and information on the latest assessment techniques.

The conference also provides a valuable networking opportunity for the many hundreds of working professionals in both the private and public sector, who are involved with managing acid sulfate soils. Panel sessions with industry experts offer a live Q&A style discussion on emerging topics of the day, and a range of associated social activities will keep conference delegates entertained.
