PFAS in the environment – measurement challenges
One-day symposium and workshop on PFAS measurement and PFAS proficiency testing
Organised by the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI) and the National Measurement Institute (NMI)
Per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination in Australia is a serious public concern. Understanding the chemical nature of these compounds and the use of measurement science are critical for both detecting contamination and monitoring the effectiveness of remediation efforts. This symposium offers a full program of speakers from environmental consultancies, government institutions, commercial laboratories, academia, government research laboratories and industry.
Register here or download the flyer. Registration closes Friday 24 October.
Call for abstracts
Speaker positions are finalised but abstracts are invited for poster presentations (submissions close Friday 24th October). Abstracts must be submitted using the the RACI template. Please email abstracts to Danny Slee. Posters can be up to A0 size.
